Ear Dimples Creases

I (W. Wertelecki, M.D.) see the ear rim (helix) with a dimple and under a papilla.
PERSPECTIVE: This sort of irregularities on the rim and posterior ear often are concurrent with dimples and ridges on the ear lobule (see other examples). This sort of dysmorphic signs must trigger the suspicion of Beckwith Wiedemann syndrome (macroglossia-omphalocele gigantism hyperinsulinism…) – see diagnoses gallery.
