Holoprosencephaly - Cebocephaly - Arhinencephaly
Live infant, no proboscis – hypoplasia of nasal structure conducive to a flat face. I call this face as Holoprocencephaly (H) facies but dysmorphologists would prefer mostly “Arrhinencepaly or Arhinencephaly” (A) and a few “Cebocephaly”. (C). Since H is likely to be present in A and C, my preference is H – The lip-gap represents an agenesis of the pre-maxilla manifested as a median “cleft” of the lip and palate – Relatively large ear (to confirm, ear measurements and plotting are required) – Auricular landmarks (helix, antihelix, tragus, antitragus) appear to be within norms.
