Teratothanasia in early post-fertilization periods is generally clinically invisible except perhaps as infertility, “hypo” fertility, or recurrent pregnancy losses.
Blastopathies are the earliest detectable malformations – are generally lethal and prevalent among females (see W. Wertelecki in Europ J Med Gen 2016).
“Cherish you exceptions” is an old admonition – monozygotic (MZ) twins represent one of the earliest “blastopathies” – MZ individuals are more prone to have malformations but generally develop within “normal” “norms” but there is one more exception – MZ can be CONJOINED which generally is lethal.
