Note what signs you see.
I (W. Wertelecki, M.D.) see a composite sketch illustrative of the most prevalent and characteristic signs of a variety of patients with partial deletion of the long arm of chromosome 13 (13q-). Different degrees of deletion and of different segments are associated with diverse combinations of anomalies. Therefore, this is a composite sketch of the most frequent and characteristic 13q- signs. It is important to underscore that 13q- is associated with an increased CANCER RISK – RETINOBLASTOMA.
