Areola Pigmentation Pale

I (N. Zymak-Zakutnia, M.D.) see pale areolas and quite lateral position. Variability of pigmentation, position and number of nipples (areolas normally surround a nipple) is considerable. It is common for clinicians to ignore variability of nipples-areolas because of their high frequency and lack of evident association with other anomalies but … Is this so in this case?
