I (W. Wertelecki, M.D.) see dilated vessels on the conjunctiva – the patient has concurrent ataxia. The disorder is one of the elevated cancer risk syndromes.

PERSPECTIVE: Ataxia – Telangiectasia or Louis-Bar syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder and those affected are at risk of developing lympho-proliferative disorders..
