Pectus Excavatum

Pectus Excavatum –  a “sunken” sternum in any individual with long body proportions (“dolicho”) such as dolichocephaly, long feet (dolichopous), arachnodactyly, etc. may be the main gate to the diagnosis of Marfan syndrome and other less common disorders. Early diagnosis saves lives.
