Digital and Scalp Angioma

Note what signs you see.
I (S. Kalynka, M.D.) see an obvious angioma of the scalp and another on the fifth finger tip. The age of appearance, disappearance, number and location should be routinely noted.
PERSPECTIVE: Additional images in this patient’s photo gallery will bring forth another diagnosis, thus relegating the noted angiomas to a secondary level. This fact underscores the imperative to consider diagnosis as a temporary hypothesis that may require changes along the developmental path of a patient (clinical chronology).
