PERSPECTIVE: Rare malformation manifested by marked broadening of the temporal region. As a result, the auricles (ears) are situated very low and have a horizontal axis; the ocular globes (eyeballs) protrude; the foramen magnum is narrow; the sagittal, coronal and lambdoid sutures are synostotic; the limbs are diminished (micromelia); there may be syndactyly.
