Nose Habsburg

I (W. Wertelecki, M.D.) see a nose! – Special for many reasons. Among them it is a characteristic of many members of one family – it is seen among those who inherit a gene mutation – it demonstrates that the gene mutation impacts some but not all nasal cartilages – this nasal sign complex is not sufficiently emphasized neither in Clinical nor in Medical Genetics reports – and finely it is a tribute to A. Durer who produced the portrait of this emperor with a degree of accuracy lacking in lesser artists. Next we will post some clues to these points and mysteries.
