I (W. Wertelecki, M.D.) see an infant with abundant redundant skin (excess), a sequela of fetal cystic hygroma.

PERSPECTIVE: Fetal Cystic Hygroma is common in instances of 45X chromosomal constitutions. However, the same is also associated with other conditions. Webbed neck (pterygium coli) is another sort of sequela.
